[a weight loss story]

I put on a little this week - not unexpected with the forced lack of activity this week plus going over my daily calories a few times. I'm not stressed about it - the eating hasn't been that bad, just too plentiful and once I'm feeling better I'll be back on top of things.
I'm meeting friends tonight to go to the speigeltent but I'm not meeting them until 6.30 so I have a bit of time to kill - not enough to make going home after work worthwhile though. So I figure I'll walk up the other end of town and pick up my WWE wrestling tickets and get in some exercise. I'm also getting my Big Day Out tickets today - woohoo - I love getting tickets.
I got a good bit of financial news yesterday. Since I started my work contract at the beginning of the year, I've been paid monthly. Sometimes that is 4 weekly, other times 5 weekly - 5 weeks is far too long between pays especially when you have to take unpaid time off sick, believe me. So yesterday one of the other contractors said he rang our agency and they said they would change our pays to fortnightly! Woohoo! Why didn't we think of just asking before? This means I got my monthly pay last week and now I'm getting my first fortnightly pay next week. I'm in the money for once. And I think I need new shoes.
I had monthly pay when I first entered the workforce many moons ago!! I hated it. Being on a very low wage also as a junior this made it really difficult to budget and make it stretch out the month. Now I get paid weekly and my hubby is on monthly but that is OK. We used his wage for the house and bills etc and mine for weekly living. Quite easy actually.
Fortnightly will be much better for you.
Fortnightly is so much better. I love getting paid fortnightly. DH got paid monthly but now that has changed too. Have fun buying new shoes. And glad the back is feeling a little better.
